Dr. Leila Omera GP
Dr. Leila Omera is a General Practitioner who graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery in 2009. Prior to completing her medical degree, Leila obtained a Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Science and achieved the highest attainable award for academic excellence. Leila completed her specialist General Practice training with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014.
Biography
Prior to completing her GP training she obtained the Certificate in Women's Health in 2012, and in 2013 she obtained the Certificate in Sexual Health and Family Planning.
Never one to stop learning since completing her General Practice training she has furthered her skills in skin cancer and cosmetic medicine. She is currently undertaking further education in Lifestyle and Nutritional medicine.
She is passionate about working in and supporting the Tweed Coast/Northern Rivers community she calls home. Leila loves to spend her spare time with her husband, two children and Bernese Mountain Dog.

Dr. Omera has a strong interest in women's health including antenatal care, perimenopause and menopause management, dermatology including skin cancer medicine, as well as chronic disease management. She has also developed a passion for providing Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapies for many musculoskeletal conditions, sexual health and cosmetic medicine.
She has trained and practiced extensively in facial aesthetic assessment, injectable treatments, laser and skin care, bringing a holistic approach to facial rejuvenation. Leila offers personalized cosmetic care that considers both a patient's overall health and their desire for a fresh, rejuvenated look.
Leila believes in partnering with her patients and developing individualised health goals that focus on their personalised health requirements and needs. She loves nurturing long-term relationships while practising sensible, evidence-based medicine.
